“A literary phenomenon.” - The Jerusalem Post
Dan Sofer author photoBorn and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, I moved to Jerusalem, Israel, in 2001—from the cradle of humankind to the birthplace of monotheism.

Along the way, I studied archaeology in the City of David, drove a tank in the Jordan Valley, delved into the Talmud in the Judean hills, represented an entire continent in the International Bible Contest, and swam with tiger sharks (unintentionally) in Mozambique.

Today, I live near Tel Aviv with a supermodel, a princess, and a mermaid.
